Today will mark the 4th time I've visited Korea in my life time. I never thought I'd ever have the opportunity to have this much intimacy with a country I remember from my childhood and a culture that guided so much of my upbringing.
I visit Korea today not as a child, not as a tourist, but as a representative for my company. I have the opportunity to see Korea through the eyes of American GIs, the same eyes of my father. I spoke with him and can hear the excitment of his voice about that time of his youth. A time of freedom and the height of his career.
Today opens a new chapter...
